It strips away/erases/conceals who I truly am and forces me into a mold/box/role that doesn't fit/suit/match me.

Ugh, the halls is the total drag. I mean, who even cares about being first? All that stress over a game is just not my thing. I'd rather be {doing homework than standing around for some silly mascot. Let's be real, school should be about being social, not this whole phony pride thing.

Seriously though, my backpack/bag/rucksack read more is packed solid/stuffed to the brim/bursting at the seams with books/papers/textbooks. My friends/fellow fans/supporters are super chill/understanding/cool about it though, they know I'm always carrying/transporting/dragging around a mountain/ton/pile of schoolwork/assignments/reading. Maybe someday I'll get to leave it behind/ditch it/abandon it and just focus on being fangirl/enjoying the fandom/sharing my love, but for now, this burden/responsibility/weight is part of the journey.
